Gophers Make History: First 4-0 Start of NCAA Era

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — Goucher had been 3-0 on two other occasions during the 29 years that the school was a member of the NCAA, but never 4-0. So when head coach Patrick Daniel's squad, which was undefeated through the first three games of the 2015-16 season, took the court against Cedar Crest this evening, it had a chance to make history.

TOWSON, Md. — Briana Bull (Baltimore, Md./Owings Mills) poured in a game-high 26 points and Amaka Ezeani (Silver Spring, Md./Paint Branch) broke a school record that had stood for more than 20 years by making eight of the nine shots she attempted from the field as Goucher defeated Roanoke, 78-65, this evening in the Decker Sports & Recreation Center.
