NASHVILLE, Tenn - Junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla./Wharton) scored in double-digits for the eighth time in 10 games, ending with a team-high 13 points for the Goucher College women's basketball team against Salisbury on Friday afternoon at the Music City Classic.
In the contest, Salisbury was victorious over the Gophers, 116-26. With the loss, Goucher dropped to 0-10 overall, while Salisbury improved to an even 5-5 on the year with the victory.
Overall on the day, Wolard led the way for the Gophers with her 13 point, six rebound effort for the year. For the junior, it marked the third time in the last four games she has scored exactly 13 points, as she led the Goucher offense in a game for the fifth straight game, and for the sixth time overall for the season.
The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, as they finish off play at the Music City Classic against Wesleyan. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. EST.
