Women's Basketball Falls to Catholic at Home in Landmark Conference Play

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher women's basketball program (0-15, Landmark 0-5) fell to Catholic (12-4, Landmark 3-2), 68-31, Wednesday evening in the Decker Sports and Recreation Center.

Over the course of four quarters, the Gophers had five scorers, and a total of 41 rebounds.

How It Happened:

  • Junior Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) had a season-high of 14 rebounds, beating her previous record of 13 vs. Juanita one week ago. Wolard also contributed eight points, as well.
  • First-year Mya Lewis (Owings Mills, Md.) led the Gophers with nine points on the evening, while also two assists and collecting four rebounds.
  • Sophomore Kerry Chun (Honolulu, Hawaii) chipped in with seven points (shooting 3-of-3 in free throws), two assists, and two steals.

Next Up:

The Gophers return to action this Saturday to face Landmark opponent Elizabethtown in the Decker Sports and Recreation Center at 4 pm.
