TOWSON, Md - Junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) of the Goucher College women's basketball team recorded a double-double for the sixth time on the 2017-18 season on Saturday against Elizabethtown inside the Decker Sports & Recreation Center, as she finished with a team-best 17 points and 11 rebounds.
In the Landmark Conference contest, E-Town was able to collect a 75-26 decision over the Gophers. With the loss, Goucher dropped to 0-16 overall and 0-6 in the Landmark, while Elizabethtown improved to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in the Landmark with the win.
In the loss, Wolard led the way again for the Gophers with her 17 point, 11 rebound performance. It marked the ninth time on the season that Wolard led Goucher in scoring in a game, while she led the team in rebounding for the eighth straight game and for the 14th time on the 2017-18 season.
Elizabethtown was led in the win by guard Abby Beyer, who finished with 18 points.
The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Monday, hosting Stevenson in a non-conference match-up. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
