BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) and senior guard Quichey Johnson (Baltimore, Md.) had impressive performances for the Goucher College women's basketball team at Moravian on Wednesday night in Landmark Conference play.
In the game, Moravian was victorious by a final score of 77-29. With the loss, Goucher dropped to 0-18 overall and 0-7 in the Landmark, while Moravian improved to 13-5 overall and 3-4 in the Landmark Conference.
Overall on the night, Wolard once again led the Gophers in scoring, finishing with 15 points, nine rebounds, and two assists. For Wolard, it marked the 13th time (in 18 games) that she has scored in double-digits, as she led the Gophers in scoring for the 11th game.
Meanwhile, Johnson ripped down a game-high 15 rebounds off the glass, while dishing out four assists, recording three steals, and blocking a shot. The 15-rebound performance was the best for a Goucher player in a game on the year, as well.
The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, as they travel to Drew for another Landmark Conference road contest. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
