WASHINGTON, D.C. - Junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) once again led the Goucher College women's basketball team in the scoring column, finishing with 18 points in a Landmark Conference match-up at Catholic on Wednesday night.
In the game, the host Cardinals were able to come out on top over the Gophers, 74-32. With the defeat, Goucher dropped to 0-20 overall and 0-9 in the Landmark Conference, while Catholic improved to 14-6 and 5-4 in Landmark play with the win.
For Goucher in the defeat, Wolard led the way in scoring for the fifth straight game (and 12th game overall on the year) with her 18-point performance. From the floor in the game, Wolard was 7-of-11 overall, while she also pulled down four rebounds on the night, as well. Elsewhere, junior Nailah Jones (Glen Dale, Md.) finished with six points and matched a team-high with six total rebounds.
The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, hosting Susquehanna in a Landmark Conference contest inside the Decker Sports & Recreation Center. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
