TOWSON, Md. - Once again, junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) led the Goucher College women's basketball team in scoring, finishing with 16 points against Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference action inside the Decker Sports & Recreation Center.
On the day, the host Riverhawks captured the game over the Gophers, 77-24. With the loss, Goucher dropped to 0-21 overall and 0-10 in the Landmark Conference, while Susquehanna improved to 9-11 overall and 4-6 in the Landmark with the win.
For Wolard, it marked the sixth straight game in which she scored in double-figures with her 16-point effort on the day. It was also the sixth straight contest in which Wolard led the Gophers in scoring, and the 13th time on the year she's led the way in the scoring department. Meanwhile, Wolard finished with 11 rebounds to notch her seventh double-double of the year.
Susquehanna was led in the win by guard Erin McQuillen, who finished with a game-high 18 points.
The Goucher College women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, as they host Moravian inside the Decker Sports & Recreation Center in Landmark Conference play. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
