TOWSON, Md. - Junior forward Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) concluded her 2017-18 season for the Goucher women's basketball team with another high-scoring game, as she finished with 13 points to lead the Gophers against 13th-ranked Scranton in Landmark Conference action on Saturday.
But, the visiting Lady Royals rolled out of Goucher with a 72-24 victory. With the loss, Goucher ends the year with an overall 0-25 mark, 0-14 in the Landmark Conference, while Scranton improved to 24-1 and finish the Landmark season with a 13-1 record.
On the day, Wolard led the way for the Gophers in the scoring column for the 17th time on the 2017-18 season with her 13-point effort. It marked the 10th straight game in which the junior scored in double-digits for Goucher, as she also pulled down four rebounds in the defeat.
Elsewhere, junior Quichey Johnson (Baltimore, Md.) once again led the Gophers in rebounding, finishing with a game-high 11 total 'boards.
For Scranton in the win, Taylor Rodriguez came off the bench lead the Lady Royals in the scoring department, finishing with 12 points.
