ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Despite a double-double by freshman Kyani Quarles (Houston, Texas/Cristo Rey Jesuit) in her third Landmark Conference contest, Goucher College dropped a 65-51 decision at Elizabethtown College in women's basketball action on Wednesday.

Quarles tallied 19 points and 10 rebounds for her third double-double of the season and her second in league play. She connected on 8-for-15 from the floor and 3 of 3 from the free throw line for her 19 points. The freshman notched her second-most points in her career after tallying a personal-best 25 points and 13 rebounds against St. Mary's (Md.) on December 1. It was her fifth double-figure point game of the season and her fourth game with at least 10 rebounds.

McFadden has scored in back-to-back games for the third time this season after she twice registered three-straight 10-point performances. It is the ninth time this season she has recorded double-figure point game and 24th of her career. She has also tallied nine rebounds nine times this season and 18 times in her collegiate career.

Goucher kept the game close in the first quarter with the Blue Jays grabbing no more than a five-point advantage until they closed the stanza with five-straight points to take an 18-10 lead after one quarter. Elizabethtown then used a 24-12 second quarter to take a 42-22 advantage going into the locker room.
