Schedule Announced for Women's Basketball
BALTIMORE, MD — The Goucher College women's basketball team is set to begin the 2025–26 campaign with new leadership on the sidelines, as first-year head coach Oliver Ellison takes the helm.
The season tips off on Tuesday, November 11, when Goucher hosts Regent at the Decker Sports and Recreation Center. That weekend, the Gophers will serve as the home site for the Renie Amoss Tip-Off Classic, featuring contests against Lancaster Bible on November 14 and Penn State Berks on November 15. Before heading into Thanksgiving break, Goucher faces a challenging road swing with three consecutive away games.
The month of December brings stability to the schedule, as all four games are played at home. The stretch includes the team's New Year's Eve doubleheader, a highlight of the winter calendar.
Conference play picks up quickly in the new year. The Gophers start January 3 at home before embarking on a three-game Landmark road stretch. A key homestand follows, with four straight games at the Decker Center, giving fans an early look at how the squad stacks up in league play. The month concludes with a trip to Elizabethtown.
The final push of the regular season comes in February, when the schedule balances evenly with three home and three away matchups. The final home contest of the season is slated for Friday, February 14, a pivotal matchup as the team eyes the Landmark Conference tournament.
