Bio
After a standout playing career at Florida Southern, Megan Dzikas begins her second year as the graduate assistant coach for the Goucher women's basketball team.
A four-year starter at FSC, Dzikas helped lead the Mocs to an overall record of 87-31, averaging over 10 points a game every season. In her first season she was named the Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year after averaging 13.3 points and a team-high 3.6 assists per game. As a junior, Dzikas averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 assists per game as the Mocs finished 26-5, winning their conference championship and advancing to the second round of NCAA Division II national tournament.
During her senior season, Dzikas led the conference in assists, was named second-team all-conference and finished on the Commissioner's Honor Roll. The Mocs repeated as regular season conference champions, and advanced once again to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Dzikas finished her FSC career ranked tenth in team history in career scoring (1368 points), second in career 3-pointers made (239), and second in career assists (515).
Dzikas graduated from Florida Southern in 2012 with a degree in business. At Goucher, she is currently working towards her Master’s of Education degree with a specialization in athletic administration.
