Bio

Grace Williamson enters her second season as an assistant coach for Goucher’s women’s basketball program. Prior to coming to Goucher, Williamson previously worked with head coach Patrick Daniel as an assistant at Pitt-Bradford in the 2014-15 season after four successful seasons as a player at the Division III level.

Williamson began her playing career at Alfred University, racking up 580 points for the Saxons over two years and earning honorable mention Empire 8 All-Conference recognition in 2011-12. She started all 25 games that year and averaged a team-high 14.7 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.

Williamson then transferred to SUNY-Cortland for her final two seasons, scoring an additional 468 points to give her 1,048 for her collegiate career. As a team captain her senior year, she was named Third-Team All-Conference by the State University of New York Athletic Conference, and she was also selected to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team. Williamson averaged 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game that season, and she additionally led the Red Dragons with 23 blocks. As a player, she started all 102 of the contests she appeared in.

Williamson graduated from SUNY-Cortland in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at Goucher in Athletic Program Leadership and Administration.
