She bested her nearest competitor by four shots to take the take the top spot, as the Gophers bested the host Bullets in the match with a team score of 385 (Goucher was edged by Catholic overall, who posted a score of 376 on the day).
Pevey, who was an All-Landmark Conference First Team selection last year, becomes the first Goucher College women's golfer to take Athlete of the Week honors from the Landmark Conference, as the program enters its second season of competition in 2018-19.
The Goucher College women's golf team returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 29 as they head to Fox Hollow Golf Club in Branchburg, N.J. for the Landmark Conference Fall Invitational.
