Women's Golf Places Sixth at Landmark Conference Fall Invitational

BRANCHBURG, N.J. - The Goucher College women's golf team took part in the 2018 Landmark Conference Fall Invitational on Saturday at the Fox Hollow Golf Club, and the Gophers finished sixth overall in the event with a combined team score of 425.

Host Drew was the winner of the event, finishing with a team score of 356 to edge second-place Catholic, who finished with a score of 369. 

Individually on the day for Goucher, sophomore Christina Pevey (Post, Texas) led the way, finishing in sixth overall after carding a 91. Meanwhile, fellow sophomore Emmie Starchvick (Jacksonville, Ore.) finished 18th overall with a 100, and sophomore Lauren O'Leary (Potomac, Md.) placed 26th with a 111. Rounding out the top finishers for Goucher was senior Kiana Haskin (Waitsfield, Vt.), who placed 29th overall. 

The Goucher College women's golf team returns to action on October 22, finishing off their Fall schedule with by taking part in the Eastern Fall Invitational in St. David's, Pa.
