Women's Golf Wraps up Fall Season with Third Place Finish at Eastern Fall Invitational

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - The Goucher College women's golf team completed the Fall portion of their 2018-19 schedule on Monday, finishing third at the 2018 Eastern Fall Invitational held at the par 70 St. Davids Golf Club.

As a team, the Gophers finished with a total score of 391 to place third in the competition. Stevenson won the event with a score of 345, followed by host Eastern in second place with a tally of 372.

Goucher was led individually on the day by sophomore Christina Pevey (Post, Texas), who finished in a tie for seventh overall after carding a 93. Right behind Pevey was teammate and fellow sophomore Emmie Starchvick (Jacksonville, Ore.), who shot a 94 to finish in a tie for 10th overall. Rounding out the top performances for Goucher was sophomore Lauren O'Leary (Potomac, Md.) who placed in a tie for 16th (100).

The Goucher College women's golf team returns to action in the early portion of the Spring, playing their next competition in March of 2019.
