Pevey Finishes Ninth To Lead Goucher Women's Golf To Third Place At Eastern Fall Invitational

ST. DAVID'S Pa. – Christina Pevey (Post, Texas/Post) finished ninth to lead the Goucher women's golf team to a third-place standing at the Eastern Fall Invitational on Wednesday.

Pevey shot 45s on both sides of the golf course to finish with a score of 90 and finish in ninth place, 11 strokes behind the medalist.

Emily Pochet (Royersford, Pa./Pennsylvania Leadership Charter) (14th place, 95), Randi Marshall (La Quinta, Calif./Half Moon Bay) (18th place, 96) and Grace Klain (Reno, Nev./Yerrington) (26th place, 109) also competed for the Gophers.

Stevenson won the event with a score of 341, 27 strokes ahead of host Eastern (368) while Goucher (390), Misericordia (430) and Juniata (442) rounded out the Top-5 teams in the eight teams.

Goucher returns to action on Saturday at the NYU Fall Invitational.
