Each week in the fall, we will name two Scholar-Athletes of the Week for their excellent work in the classroom. The fourth-week features are women's golf senior, Emily Pochet (Royersford, Pa. / Pennsylvania Leadership Charter) and men's golf junior Kaman Wilkinson (Granbury, Texas / Godley)
Pochet, a double major in dance and biology, made the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll twice (2018-19, 2019-20) in her tenure at Goucher. In her first-year campaign, she made her collegiate debut at the Bay Creek Invitational on September 11-12. During Pochet's six-event run, she recorded two Top-20 finishes. The next year, she placed 12th at the Goucher Spring Invitational on April 15 and placed 27th at the Landmark Conference Championships on April 28. During her junior year, Pochet recorded two Top-20 finishes in the fall, including a 14th place finish at the Eastern Fall Invitational on October 9.
Wilkinson, a business major, also made the Landmark Conference Honor Roll in 2019-20. In his first year, he made his Goucher debut at the Don Scalf Invitational on September 23-24. Wilkinson upped his game for his sophomore year, finishing 14th at the McDaniel Individual B Tournament on September 19 and the Stevenson Fall Invitational on October 9. Wilkinson, Pochet, nor either of the golfs team competed in the spring season last year due to the season being cut short.
