Schenk Finishes Career-Best 7th at Sandhills Splash

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - Goucher College women's golf first year Iseline Schenk (Bergen, Netherlands / Murmellius Gymnasuim) finished a collegiate-best seventh with a two-day score of 177 at the Sandhills Splash at Longleaf Golf Club Tuesday and Wednesday.  

As a team, the Gophers finished fifth with a two-day total of 827.

Schenk improved by five shots on Wednesday to card an 86 on the par-72 layout after carding a 91 on Tuesday.  Schenk has recorded top-10 finishes in five of the six events she has competed in this season.

Keeli Satterfield (Portland, Oregon / Valley Catholic) improved by six shots on Wednesday and finished at 210 over two days.  Grace Klain (Yerrington, Nev. / Nevada Connections Academy) improved by nine shots on Wednesday, posting a 104, while Maddie Agrusti (Elkridge, Md. / Howard) rounded out the Goucher finishers.

Goucher returns to action March 25-26 when it competes at the Cardinal Spring Classic hosted by Catholic at Black Rock Golf Club in Hagerstown, Md.
