Gophers Take Second on the Road at Wilkes

WILKES-BARRE, PA- The Goucher College Women's Golf team took second place at the Wyoming Valley Country Club (hosted by Wilkes University) on Sunday afternoon. The Gophers ended the day with a final score of 396 (+108). 

Seniors, Isa Schenk and Keeli Satterfield led the way for the Gophers taking second and third place. Schenk finished the course in second place with a final score of 83 (+11). Satterfield was right behind Schenk in third place with a score of 94 (+22).

Jillian Spooner ended the day tied for 10th. She finished with a score of 108 (+36). 

Katelynn Roberts rounded out the Gophers with a score of 111 (+39). She finished in 13th place. 

The Gophers tee off next at York College for a two day competition. The first day of competetition will be Sunday, October 19th.
