Two Gophers Land Top 20 Finishes at Cardinal Spring Classic
HAGERSTOWN, MD- The Goucher College Gophers competed in the second day of the Catholic Cardinal Classic, earning a score of 425 (+137), and after a day one score of 428 (+140), the Gophers finished in seventh place with a score of 853 (+137).
The Gophers were led by Isa Schenk. She finished the competition in tenth place with a score of 168 (+24) after a day one score of 83 (+11) and a day two score of 85 (+13).
Keeli Satterfield ended the competition, tying for 20th. She finished day one with a score of 89 (+17) and day two with a score of 94 (+22), combining for a score of 183 (+39).
Katelynn Roberts finished in 34th with a two-day score of 221 (+32). Her round one score was 117 (+45), and she shot better during the second round with a score of 104 (+32).
Rounding out the Gophers was Josie Grosser. She finished the two-day competition in 36th place with a final score of 281 (+70). She ended day one with a score of 139 (+67) and a day two score of 142 (+70).
The Gophers tee off next at Stevenson on Wednesday, April 15th.
