Only Goucher's Second Loss to In-State Rival Since 2001
TOWSON, Md. — While Goucher was able to score back-to-back goals just one time during the first 59 minutes of tonight's non-conference game on Beldon Field against Washington (Md.), the visiting Shorewomen did it four times just in the first half.
Not only that, but Washington also tallied the first three goals of the second half and later strung together five consecutive goals. It all added up to a 19-10 victory over the Gophers that allowed the Shorewomen to remain undefeated.
