Six Home Games Highlight 2018 Schedule for Women’s Lacrosse

The Goucher College women's lacrosse program has announced their 2018 schedule, which will include 15 matches, six of which will be played at home.

Led by second-year head coach Cat Thorsen, the Gophers will open their 2018 slate on February 24 on the road at Rosemont, before returning home to Beldon Field on February 28, where they will take on McDaniel in their home season opener at 4:30 p.m.

To open March, the Gophers will play six more non-conference matches before opening Landmark Conference play at Scranton on Mar. 25. The non-conference slate throughout March will be headlined by home games against Medaille (Mar. 7) and Frostburg State (Mar. 14), along with a trip to Southern California to take on Whittier (Mar. 19) and Occidental (Mar. 21).

After kicking off Landmark Conference play at Scranton, the Gophers will play only conference opposition the rest of the season. Goucher will host Elizabethtown (Mar. 30), Susquehanna (Apr. 14), and Drew (Apr. 21) in Landmark play for the year.
