  • Neumann defeated the Gophers 21-10 in the season opener for both teams on February 16.
  • Shannon Stull paced Goucher with two goals and an assist while Camryn Agostino posted two tallies and Alyssa Long also found the twine in the game. Stull registered her 18 career multi-goal performance and now has 66 goals and two assists for 68 points in her three years. Agostino and Long are part of the squad's Top-5 scorers from last season. Long ranked third on the team in. 2018 with 14 goals and six assists for 20 points while Agostino was fifth with 10 markers and one assist for 11 points.
  • It's a new era for the program with freshmen Julia Gazzola (1 goal, 2 assists), Alex DiGiovanni (1 goal), Emily Flinn (1 goal), Mackenzie Nase (1 goal), Elizabeth Green (1 goal) and Delany Comerford  (1 assist) all registered their first collegiate points in the match.
  • Long also stuffed the stat sheet with six draw controls, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Gazzola added four draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover while Soleil Gagne registered four draw controls and a caused turnover. Comerford registered three ground balls and two caused turnovers while Brittany Ransom added two ground balls and two caused turnovers.

  • Interim head coach Sarah Goodson will be making her collegiate head coaching debut and will be participating in her first NCAA Division III women's lacrosse game since hoisting the trophy at Gettysburg College after Salisbury University defeated Hamilton College 9-8 on May 23, 2010 to claim the national title. 
  • Shannon Stull has posted a goal in 27 of her 31 career games and has notched a tally in 18 of her last 19 matches.
  • Alyssa Long registered a career-high six draw controls against Neumann and has two career games with five or more draw controls.
  • Six freshmen notched their first collegiate point against Neumann with five of those newcomers recording their first collegiate tally.
  • Nine freshmen made their collegiate debut against the Knights including five freshmen making their first college start.
