Goucher Women's Lacrosse Looks To Stay Hot In Home Match Against Randolph On Friday Night
  • Camryn Agostino and Shannon Stull keyed a 4-1 run to end the game with a goal and an assist apiece to propel Goucher College past Immaculata University 11-9 in non-conference women's lacrosse action Wednesday.
  • Trailing 8-7 with 13:56 left in the match, Stull started the decisive rally with her fourth goal of the game at 12:06 to tie the game at 8. Agostino then setup Mackenzie Nase 53 seconds later to give the Gophers the lead for good. Emily Flinn gave Goucher a 10-8 lead on an 8-meter goal at the 9:23 mark. The Mighty Macs halted 3-0 run with a tally at 5:38, but Stull found Agostino with 3:57 remaining to seal the squad's second win of the year.
  • Stull paced the Gophers with four goals and two assists for the second-straight match.
  • Agostino added a goal and an assist after posting a pair of goals in her first two games and now has five goals and an assist for six points on the year. Flinn and Elizabeth Green added two goals apiece.
  • Lia Oren paced the defense with five caused turnovers and two ground balls while Nase registered four caused turnovers and one ground ball. Along with scoring a goal, Gazzola hauled in a team-best eight draw controls and three ground balls. Abbie McHerron made 10 saves for the Gophers.
  • The Mighty Macs are 0-1 this season, but finished 14-4 last year.
  • Immaculata is 0-1 at home this year after finishing 10-2 at home in 2018.
  • In their last contest, Immaculata lost 15-1 to Swarthmore on Saturday.
  • Maura Murray scored the lone goal while Molly Gallagher posted five ground balls and four caused turnovers.
  • Head coach Janelle Cronmiller is in her ninth season at Immaculata.
  • Shannon Stull has recorded 18 multi-goal performances including seven with four goals or more in her career. Stull has dished out two assists twice this season after only have one helper in her career coming into her junior campaign. She has 10 goals and five assists for 15 points in 2019.Goucher is 1-1 for the first time since 2016.
  • Emily Flinn now has two multi-goal performances with five tallies and three assists for eight points on the year.
  • Elizabeth Green has four goals in 2019 after her first multi-goal match.
