  • Julia Gazzola was a force to reckon with on both the offensive and defensive ends to power Goucher College past Wesley College 20-11 in non-conference women's lacrosse action on Wednesday. Gazzola registered five goals and one assist for six points, but her name was also being called on the defensive end after posting a career-high six ground balls and six caused turnovers along with six draw controls.
  • Camryn Agostino and Shannon Stull each posted three goals and one assist.
  • Emily Flinn added two goals and three assists.
  • Alyssa Long notched her first hat trick of the season.
  • Soleil Gagne added four ground balls and three caused turnovers while Abbie McHerron made seven saves in the team's sixth win of the year.


  • The Greyhounds are 4-2 this year after finishing 11-5 last season.
  • Moravian is 2-1 on the road this year. The squad was 5-2 on the road in 2018.
  • In their last contest, the Greyhounds lost 20-10 to Swarthmore on Wednesday.
  • Meghan McMullan leads the team with 18 goals and 15 assists for 33 points. Olivia Clearie leads the team with eight caused turnovers and 17 ground balls while Kelly Garvin has 41 saves, a 15.81 goals against average and a .410 save percentage.
  • Head coach Kristen Nicholson is in her fourth season at Moravian.


  • The Bison is 1-4 in its inaugural season.
  • Bethany is 0-2 on the road. 
  • In their last contest, the Bison lost 23-0 to Bridgewater on Wednesday.
  • Dearra Harrison leads the team with goals. Cassidy Mailloux leads the team with 16 ground balls, 13 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers while Trinity Dixon has 69 saves, a 17.60 goals against average and a .439 save percentage.
  • Head coach Liz Geyer, who is in her first season at Bethany.
  • Julia Gazzola registered her third-straight hat trick and sixth of the season. She now has 25 goals and 10 assists for 35 points on the year.
  • Shannon Stull will enter Saturday's home game against Moravian needing one score to reach 100 goals for her career. Stull reached 100 career points against Gwynedd Mercy on March 16. Stull leads the team with 35 goals and 10 assists for 45 points
  • Camryn Agostino notched her second-straight hat trick.
  • Alyssa Long has recorded one three-goal performance in each season at Goucher. The junior now has 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points on the year.
  • Goucher is 6-2 for the first time since 2015 when the team also went 3-3 in conference play that year and made the postseason.
  • Goucher returns to action at Elizabethtown on March 30.
