  • Goucher College to No. 10 Catholic in Landmark Conference women's lacrosse action on Wednesday.
  • Shannon StullAlyssa Long and Mackenzie Nase each found the twine for the Gophers.
  • Long scored the first marker of the day for Goucher with an unassisted tally at 21:31 and Stull twinkled the twine 50 seconds later. Nase picked up a loose ball after her 8-meter shot and scored at the 16:33 mark in the first half.
  • Julia Gazzola was held scoreless for the first time in her career, but added four ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers. 
  • Abbie McHerron made two saves and recorded six ground balls and two caused turnovers while Gillan Sickler played the the second half in the net.

  • The River Hawks are 5-7 this year after finishing 4-9 last season.
  • Susquehanna is 4-2 at home this year. The squad was 0-5 at home in 2018.
  • In their last contest, the River Hawks defeated Juniata 17-9 on Wednesday.
  • Kathrina DeMalo leads the team with 19 goals and nine assists for 28 points. Alison Elf fuels the defense with 18 caused turnovers while Libby Dex has 136 saves, a 14.42 goals against average and a .440 save percentage.

  • Shannon Stull scored just one goal in a contest for the 11th time in her career to go along with 20 career hat tricks. The junior leads the team with 47 goals and 11 assists for 58 points and has 111 markers and 12 assists for 123 points in her career. She also grabbed one draw control to move to within two draws of 100 for her career.
  • Alyssa Long has scored in 11 of 13 games this season including nine consecutive matches which is the longest of her career. The tally was the 50th of her career and she also has 17 assists for 67 career points. Long needs 10 draw controls to reach 100 for her career.
  • Mackenzie Nase registered her 10th tally of the season and has scored in four of the last five contests. She has registered one goal in a game six times and has posted a personal-best two tallies twice. Nase added two caused turnovers and three ground balls.
  • Julia Gazzola is on the footsteps of making history, needing one draw control to tie Merlo Tersigni (83, 2008) singles-season program record for draw controls and two to hold the mark on her own. Gazzola ranks second in all three offensive categories on the team with goals (36), assists (12) and points (48) and she leads the squad in ground balls (29), draw controls (82) and caused turnovers (20).
  • Goucher is 3-2 on the road this year, but have lost its last two matches away from Beldon Field.
