Senior Spotlight: Women's Lacrosse Alyssa Long

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a women's lacrosse player for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the women's lacrosse program for the last four years! This senior hails from Pennsbury, Pennsylvania and started in 52 games in her career. She registered 61 goals and 22 assists for 83 points and hauled in 110 draw controls in her career. She has registered 13 multigoal performances including five hat tricks while she has dished out two or more assists twice in her career. She posted a career best in assists and points  against Cedar Crest on February 23, 2019 after tallying two goals and four assists in a win. Majoring in biology, she is the daughter of Debra and Scott. Ladies and gentlemen, No. 16 Alyssa Long.

  • Appeared in six games before COVID-19 ended the season
  • Posted seven goals and two assists for nine points
  • Recorded three multigoal performances
  • Scored the go-ahead tally against Notre Dame on March 10

  • Registered a career-best 24 goals and 12 assists for 36 points
  • Tallied seven multigoal performances including four hat tricks
