Sarah Goodson to be Inducted Into Salisbury Hall of Fame Friday
TOWSON, Md. - Goucher College head women's lacrosse coach Sarah Goodson will be inducted into the 2021 class of the Salisbury University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021 on Friday, October 22 in a ceremony on the Salisbury campus.
Goodson, entering her fourth year as head coach of the Gophers in 2022, is a 2010 graduate of Salisbury with a degree in Economics. The former Sarah McKinley, the Timonium, Md. native and graduate of Dulaney High School was a two-time womenslacrosse.com National Defensive Player of the Year and two-time IWLCA First Team All-American during her career with the Sea Gulls. Salisbury captured its first NCAA Division III women's lacrosse national championship during her senior season in 2010 and over her final two seasons the Sea Gulls posted a 42-2 record, reaching the national championship game in 2009.
Over her first three seasons, including the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign as well as no season last spring, Goodson has posted a 12-9 record, including an 8-7 mark in her first season in 2019.
