WINCHESTER, Va. - The Goucher College women's soccer team dropped their first match of the 2018 season on Thursday night at Shenandoah, falling by a score of 5-0 on the road.
With the defeat, Goucher dropped to 2-1 overall for the season, while Shenandoah improved to 1-2 in the victory.
In the match, Shenandoah put the match away early, taking a 3-0 lead in the first 30 minutes of action. The Hornets eventually scored two more goals before the first half ended, taking a five-score lead into the half that held throughout the second half.
The Goucher College women's soccer team returns to action on Saturday, traveling to Eastern. Action gets underway at 3 p.m.
