- The Goucher women's soccer team opens up its third season under head coach Stephanie Ricketts on Friday night at Gwynedd Mercy
- It will be the first time the team has started the season on the road under Ricketts
- The Gophers are 1-0-1 in season openers under Ricketts including a 3-0 win last year on Beldon Field against Gwynedd Mercy
- Goucher will host Hood on Sunday at 3 p.m.
- The Gophers are 8-4-1 all-time against the Blazers
- The roster is comprised of nine freshmen, five sophomores, eight juniors and three seniors
