Goucher Women's Soccer Edged By Scranton

BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College played a tough, tight-match on Family Weekend, but was edged 1-0 by the University of Scranton in Landmark Conference women's soccer action on Saturday.

Christina Charikofsky (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) made five saves for the Gophers and now has 42 stops on the year.

Claudia Roller (Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro) had shot for Goucher.

The Gophers return to action on Monday against Immaculata for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day. Anyone Goucher student who attends the game with a staff member or vice versa will receive free pizza at the pavilion during the first half. Match time is 4 p.m.
