Gophers Earn Eighth Straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

2020-21 College Team Academic Award Recipients

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College women's soccer team was honored by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday with its Team Academic Award for the 2020-21 academic year.  The award marks the eighth straight year the Gophers have claimed the award dating back to 2014.  Goucher compiled a 3.53 team GPA in the 2020-21 academic year.

College Team Academic Award recipients are active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2020-21 academic year.

The Gopher women's soccer program had a total of 11 student-athletes named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll in the fall of 2020.  Goucher was one of 384 programs nationwide, and one of six in the Landmark Conference to be honored.
