Belle St. Jean Repeats as USC All-Region Selection

UNITED SOCCER COACHES ALL-REGION TEAMS

TOWSON, Md. - Senior defender Belle St. Jean of the Goucher College women's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region V Team as a Third Team selection, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.  It marks the second straight season St. Jean has been honored as a Third Team All-Region selection.

St. Jean, a Landmark Second Team All-Landmark Conference selection this season, started all 17 games for Goucher, one of four players to do so, and anchored a defense that posted a 1.00 goals-against average and registered five shutouts.  St. Jean was also recently recognized as a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection.

In three seasons at Goucher, St. Jean started all 50 games played and was a three-time Landmark All-Conference and two-time All-Region selection.

Goucher finished 2023 with its fewest losses since 2012 and setting a program record for draws, going 4-5-8 overall.
