MADISON, N.J. - Thirteen female swimmers were among the 30 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2007-08 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.

MADISON, N.J. - Thirteen female swimmers were among the 30 student-athletes from Goucher who were recognized today by the Landmark Conference for academic accomplishments by being placed on the 2007-08 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll.
The honor roll contains the names of 258 student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher from the eight member institutions who played one of the six sports in which the Landmark Conference conducts a championship during the winter and have achieved a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
The following women's swimmers represented Goucher on the 2007-08 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll: Candace Crasto (Tallahassee, FL/Urbana), Alex Deffaa (Glen Rock, NJ/Oakwood Friends School), Pilar Gimenez (Phoenix, MD/McDonogh School), Noura Hemady (Timonium, MD/Carver Center), Britt Hogstrom (Killington, VT/Woodstock Union), Sarah Keifer (Skillman, NJ/Montgomery), Bethany Natoli (Alexandria, VA/O'Connell), Sandy Okun (Stevenson, MD/McDonogh School), Sara Reznick (Pittsburgh, PA/Taylor Allderdice), Laura Rossi (Ponce, Puerto Rico/Walnut Hill School), Pamela Sobeck (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands Regional), Judith Stern (Reisterstown, MD/Grier School) and Kait Van Schoick (Hollis, NH/Bishop Guertin).
The Landmark Conference is in its first year of competition and includes eight like-minded institutions covering the mid-Atlantic region.
