Junior Wins Two Freestyle Events, Anchors Victorious Relay

MADISON, N.J. – On the strength of her performance in Goucher's season-opening 103-100 victory over Susquehanna, Britt Hogstrom (Killington, Vt./Woodstock Union) today was named Women's Swimmer of the Week in the Landmark Conference for October 20-26.
Hogstrom earned 18 points in the two individual events in which she competed by placing first in both of them. Her winning time in the 100-yard freestyle was :57.40 and she completed the 200 free in 2:05.06. In addition, Hogstrom anchored Goucher's victorious 200 medley relay (2:00.14).
Hogstrom, a junior, is the reigning Landmark Conference champion in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles.
