first-place performance this evening in a meet that also involved
Salisbury and York.
The Gophers (4-6) trailed both of their opponents on the scoreboard at the conclusion of the meet: the Sea Gulls defeated head coach Tom Till's squad, 148-56, and the Spartans prevailed 162-42.
Hogstrom touched first in the 500-yard freestyle as she completed the event in 5:29.54.
Lindsey Phillipson-Weiner (Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) placed third in two events for the Gophers: the 100 free (:58.24) and 200 free (2:04.86).
