Gophers Come Up Short Against Spartans, Sea Gulls
YORK, Pa. — Victoria Adinolfi (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) turned in the only first-place performance for Goucher today while the Gophers were competing against two Capital Athletic Conference teams.

YORK, Pa. — Victoria Adinolfi (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) turned in the only first-place performance for Goucher today while the Gophers were competing against two Capital Athletic Conference teams.
The Gophers (3-7) were beaten by Salisbury, 140-65, and York, 150-55. The Sea Gulls (3-3) were also victorious over the Spartans (5-6), 109-96.
Adinolfi touched first in the 100-yard butterfly, cpmpleting the event in 1:06.88.
Sarah Eastland (Sebastopol, Calif./Analy) was runner-up to York's Michaela Guild in the 200 freestyle. Guild's winning time was 2:04.69, while Eastland finished the event in 2:09.66.
Lindsey Phillipson-Weiner (Merion, Pa./Lower Merion) placed third in the 1000 free (12:04.41).
Goucher's entry of Phillipson-Weiner, Abbey Wegman (Knoxville, Tenn./Berean Christian), Rachel Leavitt-Baron (Seattle, Wash./Seattle Academy) and Eastland took third place in the 400 free relay, the meet's final event. The foursome posted a time of 4:06.24.
