Gophers Finish First Day with 57 Points, In 8th Place

Craver Completes 200 IM in 2:18.13, Good for 6th Place
SCRANTON, Pa. — Nicole Craver (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove Area) had a hand in all 57 points Goucher earned on the opening day of the 2013 Landmark Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.
The Gophers sit in eighth place after today's six events.
Craver secured 13 points for her sixth-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley. She completed the event in 2:18.13.
The sophomore was also on Goucher's entries in the two relays conducted today. In the 200-yard free relay, she followed Abbey Wegman (Knoxville, Tenn./Berean Christian), Emmy Martin (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) and Sydney Patterson (Dallas, Texas/Woodrow Wilson) as the Gophers took eighth place with their time of 1:48.98.
Goucher placed eighth again and earned another 22 points in the 400-medley relay where the foursome of Kellyn Brower (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge), Craver, Patterson and Wegman were clocked at 4:29.40.
