2017-18: Swam in all 8 meets during her senior season with the Gophers...fastest event of the season was the 100 yard freestyle event (1:00.02) at the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships where she placed 2nd...placed 18th in the 200 yard backstroke (2:29.89), placed 13th in the 400 yard IM (5:13.32), and placed 1st in the 200 yard IM events (2:27.76) at the 2018 Landmark Conference Championships as well...
Before Goucher: Letter winner in swimming, water polo and volleyball at Reseda High School...named to Volleyball All-League team in 2013.
Personal: Daughter of Les and Robin Kieffer, Rachel is environmental science major and chemistry and biology minor.

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College Women's Swimming team (3-6 overall) fell to the Riverhawks of Susquehanna 478.1-394.8 Saturday afternoon in the Von Borries Aquatic Center.
The Goucher Gophers fell to Elizabethtown College today in their second swim meet of the 2017-18 season by a score of 133.5-128.5. With the loss, the Gophers drop to 2-2 on the season.
Goucher’s women’s swim team opened its 2017-18 season today with two wins and one loss in a quad meet held at McDonogh School. Goucher beat Hood College, 150-50, and Stevenson University, 114-85. The Gophers fell to the Bobcats of Frostburg State University by a 118-86 score.
