KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Goucher suffered its second Spring Break loss tonight as the team fell to Bethel, 9-0, at Oak Street Park.

In single's competition, the Gophers (3-3) picked up only seven games, six of which came from three different matches.

At the No. 2 spot, Leigh Oehrig (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) won a game in each set, falling to Samantha Hindt, 6-1, 6-1.

Ali Tomasevich (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) and Miranda Egan-Brooks (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bard High School Early College) earned two games but also bowed to their opponents in straight sets.

The Royals (12-2) swept doubles and won all but one game as the duo of Kirsten Cianci (Bolton, Conn./Bolton) and Oehrig pulled one out at the No. 1 spot against Sydney Parkinson and Madeline Simpson.

Goucher ends its Spring Break trip with a 3 p.m. match against Wooster on Thursday.
