WASHINGTON, D.C. - Host Catholic won all three matches in doubles and didn't look back the rest of the day, as the Cardinals got past the Goucher College women's tennis team, 7-2, on Wednesday in Landmark Conference play.

With the loss, Goucher dropped to 7-9 overall and 1-4 in the Landmark Conference, while Catholic improved to 11-7 and 4-1 in the Landmark with the win.

In the defeat, Goucher was only able to collect a pair of victories in singles to get on the board as a team for the afternoon. At number four, first-year Morgan Hartman (Woodstock, Vermont) coasted to a 6-4, 6-1 win, while at number six, junior Meera Balasubramanian (Bel Air, Md.) was a 6-3, 6-0 victor.
