Senior Spotlight: Women's Tennis Ali Gorson-Marrow

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a women's tennis player for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the women's tennis program for the last four years! This senior hails from Broomall, Pennsylvania who has won over 20 matches in her career. She posted a career-best five singles wins in her freshman campaign and went 3-3 in singles play in her senior year including going 2-2 at the Goucher Invitational in the fall. Majoring in business management, she is the daughter of Gigi and Larry. Ladies and gentlemen, Ali Gorson-Marrow.

  2019-20
 
  • Posted a 3-3 record in singles and 2-1 record in doubles
  • Registered a 2-2 mark at the Goucher Invitational in singles on September 28-29
  • Earned a 6-1, 6-4 win against Lebanon Valley for her final collegiate win on October 4
   2018-19
 
  • Recorded one singles win and four doubles wins
  • Registered a 6-0, 6-0 win against Kean in singles play on September 20
  • Posted an 8-3 doubles win against Drew with Morgan Hartman on March 30
  • Tallied three-straight doubles wins with Ali Tomasevich
  2017-18
 
  • Notched four singles wins and five doubles victories
  • Earned a 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 in singles play and an 8-0 win in doubles against Saint Elizabeth on March 23
  • Posted a 6-2, 6-0 win in singles and an 8-0 decision in doubles against Notre Dame on April 10
  2016-17
 
  • Posted five singles wins and two doubles wins
  • Made her collegiate debut with a 6-2, 6-0 win in singles and an 8-3 win against Stevenson on September 21
  • Earned a 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 (7-3) win in her first career conference match against Susquehanna on April 1 
  HIGH SCHOOL
 
  •  Played on the girls tennis team at Barrack Hebrew Academy
  • Served as team captain for one season
