Senior Spotlight: Women's Tennis Kyoko Kinoshita

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a women's tennis player for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the women's tennis program for the last three years! This senior hails from Tokyo, Japan who posted a 14-11 record in singles and 13 doubles wins in her career. She notched a career-best record of 8-4 in singles in her first year in Baltimore. She went 2-2 in singles and 6-2 in doubles in the fall including teaming with Katie Marzerka to win all four matches at the Goucher Invitational in the fall. Majoring in business management, she is the daughter of Atsushi Keiko. Ladies and gentlemen, Kyoko Kinoshita.

  2019-20
 
  • Posted a 2-2 record in singles and a 6-2 record in doubles
  • Teamed up with Katie Marzerka to go 4-0 at the Goucher Invitational on September 28-29
  • Earned a 2-6, 6-4, 10-4 win in her final collegiate match against York on October 5
   2018-19
 
  • Posted a 4-5 record in singles and 3-3 in doubles
  • Recorded three single wins in straight sets
  • Defeated Elizabethtown 6-1, 2-6, 10-7 in conference play on April 6
  2017-18
 
  • Notched an 8-4 singles record and four doubles wins
  • Registered five straight-set wins in singles play
  • Recovered for a 0-6, 6-0, 10-8 win against Juniata on April 14
