Women's Tennis Nets Four on CSC Academic All-District Team

TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College women's tennis team had four members selected to the College Sports Communicators All-District Team announced Tuesday afternoon. CSC members were permitted to nominate up to four student-athletes for the honor.
Eliza Abady, a junior Spanish and Sociology major from Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Natalia Navarro, a sophomore Business Management major, Jessica Townes, a junior Biochemistry major from Wilmington, Delaware and Aaliyah Ybarra, a senior Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology major from Bastrop, Texas, were all recognized.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or an important reserve and have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 4 (women) and June 5 (men)
