Goucher Falls to Coppin State on the Road

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Gophers (2-4 Overall) traveled to play local opponent, Coppin State (1-2 Overall). The women fell after needed to forfeit two matches, leading to a 7-0 victory for the Eagles.
- Only two doubles matches were played, due to limited players for the Gophers.
- The Eagles, secured the point after winning both sets 6-2.
- Meline Siggen battled in the No. 1 singles, but lost after dropping the first set 5-7, and the next 3-6.
- In the No. 5 singles, Sarai Oquendo Silveira dropped straight sets but maintained a close score of 3-6 and 4-6.
- The No. 6 singles was not played.
- The women travel to face Moravian on Saturday, March 15th for their first Landmark Conference matchup set to begin at 1pm.
- They host Lycoming and Harford Community College in their spring home opener on March 22nd at 1pm.
