Women's Tennis Earns Multiple Academic Accolades

BATLIMORE, MD - The Goucher Women's Tennis Team earned numerous academic accolades from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). In 2025, 1,269 Division III women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 165 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.

Goucher was among the teams awarded All-Academic Team. To win this, the team must have a grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. 

On top of that, five individuals were recognized as scholar-athletes. To win this, you must have a 3.5 or higher GPA for the academic year. This recipients of this included now graduates of the program, Eliza Abady, Shelby Meek, Sarai Oquendo Silviera as well as returners Natalia Navarro and Lucy Ingraham.
