Women's Tennis Finds Early Success at Home Invitational

BALTIMORE, MD.- The Goucher women's tennis team had a strong showing at the first Goucher College Invitational. Natalia Navarro and Méline Siggen won their opening doubles match, with Siggen also picking up a singles victory. Freshman Kendra Lanese earned her first collegiate singles win and added a doubles win with a Stevenson partner. Fellow freshmen Alexa Benedict and Lydia Hurst dominated, winning three straight to claim the C Flight Doubles Title.
The Gophers will return to action October 14th against York. The Gophers will be hosting at 4 pm.
