PR Lands Cooney in 6th Place in Weight Throw

Junior's Distances: 37-10 in Weight Throw, 30-10.25 in Shot Put
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Abby Cooney (Holden,
Mass./Wachusett Regional) turned in the best performance
in the weight throw of her career at Goucher at today's Susquehanna
Indoor Invitational.
The junior placed sixth overall in the event with a distance of 37-feet, 10-inches. She also finished in 14th place in the shot put competition (30-feet, 10.25-inches).
Dana Macaluso (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) recorded a distance of 15-feet, 1.5-inches to place 12th overall in the long jump and Sarah Meade (Santa Fe, N.M./Monte Del Sol Charter School) completed the 55-meter dash in :07.98, good for 14th place.
