Goucher's 4 x 800 Entry Finishes in Third Place
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Goucher's entry in the 4 x 800-meter relay placed third and senior Dana Macaluso (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) was fourth in the long jump competition at today's Susquehanna Invitational.
Macaluso Clears 15' 5 1/2" for Fourth Place in Long Jump
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Goucher's entry in the 4 x 800-meter relay placed third and senior Dana Macaluso (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) was fourth in the long jump competition at today's Susquehanna Invitational.
In the 4 x 800, the foursome of freshman Katelynn Zidanic (York, Pa./Central York), freshman Kathryn Walker (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh), senior Hannah Southworth (Madbury, N.H./Oyster River) and freshman Taylor Burr (Addison, Maine/Maranacook Community) recorded a time of 10:50.68, the third-fastest in that event in the history of the school's women's indoor track and field program.
Macaluso cleared 15-feet, 5.5-inches in the long jump.
Senior Abby Cooney (Holden, Mass./Wachusett Regional) turned in the top performance of her career in the weight throw. Her effort of 39-feet, 2.25-inches landed her in sixth place.
