Aganovic Adds to Team Score in Long, Triple Jumps

CARLISLE, Pa. — Goucher's Sara Aganovic (Pasadena, Md./McDonogh) was one of the top performers in both the long and triple jumps at today's DuCharme Invitational, earning six points for the Gophers.

In the long jump, Aganovic's top effort was 4.67 meters (15'4"), which landed her in fifth place overall. The sophomore took seventh place in the triple jump by going 9.99 meters (39'2 1/2").

Maafio Appiah-Padi (Edmonton, Alberta/Lewisburg Area) picked up three points by placing sixth in the shot put with a distance of 9.95 meters (32'7 3/4").

In the 4 x 800-meter relay, Goucher's entry consisting of Katelynn Zidanic (York, Pa./Central York), Shea Staab (Fallston, Md./Fallston), Camille Jorgensen (San Diego, Calif./Patrick Henry) and Christine Cherry (Laurel, Md./Meade) was clocked at 11:04.19 and finished in third place (six points).

The Gophers wound up in 10th place in the team scoring with 15 points.
